Shift Type: Varied shifts, 8 hours, with weekend call required

Hours per Week: 40

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care during EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, MRCP, and biopsy procedures
• Administer moderate sedation when anesthesia is unavailable
• Collaborate with the charge nurse and interdisciplinary team
• Float to PACU/ACU units as needed to support patient care
• Document accurately using Cerner-Surginet EMR
• Respond to emergency cases and weekend call requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• Moderate Sedation administration
• Cerner-Surginet documentation
• Endoscopy and GI procedures
• Emergency response readiness
• Team collaboration and flexibility

Requirements

• Active California RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications required
• At least 2 years of GI/Endoscopy experience
• Moderate Sedation experience preferred
• Cerner-Surginet charting experience preferred
