About This Role The Per Diem Nurse Epidemiologist will support Infection Prevention and Control activities at NewYork-Presbyterian/The One, focusing on high-level disinfection, sterile processing practices, and environmental infection prevention. Highlights Pay: $90.00/Hourly Location: White Plains, NY Facility: NewYork-Presbyterian/The One Schedule: Per Diem, Rotating What You'll Do Conduct routine rounding and audits in areas performing high-level disinfection. Monitor compliance with infection prevention standards. Identify opportunities for improvement in infection control practices. Provide education to frontline staff and leaders. Offer consultation services to various departments. Collaborate with clinical, perioperative, and sterile processing leaders. Requirements Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required Master's degree in nursing or related field preferred Experience: Three to five years of clinical experience required Infection Prevention and Control experience preferred Three years of bedside nursing experience preferred Licenses & Certifications: Current New York State RN license Ability to obtain CIC certification within two years of employment Certified by the Certification Board for Infection Control & Epidemiology (CIC) preferred About NewYork-Presbyterian NewYork-Presbyterian is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
