Radiology Technologist - Pediatric

Join the imaging team as a Radiologic Technologist, responsible for performing diagnostic x-rays, fluoroscopy, portables, OR exams, and bone density procedures. Key Duties Include Explaining procedures to patients and preparing them for imaging exams. Transporting, positioning, and verifying patient identity to ensure safety. Following radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure. Preparing and administering contrast media within scope of practice. Monitoring patients during procedures and reporting abnormalities. Ensuring high-quality images are submitted accurately to PACS. Maintaining equipment, reporting malfunctions, and keeping the department clean. Performing limited emergent CT procedures if needed. Qualifications Completion of a Radiology Technology program. ARTR-R Radiography certification and/or Bone Density registry. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. State-specific radiologic technologist licenses or temporary accreditation. Skills & Physical Requirements Constant standing, walking, and patient handling. Visual and auditory acuity for safety and communication. Repetitive movements and lifting of up to 50 lbs. Ability to bend, stoop, and perform fine motor tasks.
