What You'll Do:

• Deliver patient-centered, trauma-informed, and affirming primary care to a diverse patient population across the lifespan.
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team of providers, nurses, behavioral health clinicians, and care coordinators.
• Champion equity by providing care that respects and affirms the identities, lived experiences, and challenges of each patient.
• Participate in clinical quality improvement and contribute to our integrated model of care, which includes HIV services, behavioral health, and gender-affirming care.

Who You Are:

• A MD or DO licensed (or license-eligible) in Massachusetts.
• Committed to delivering high-quality, culturally competent care in a fast-paced, community health setting.
• Passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ communities, BIPOC patients, and other marginalized groups.
• Eager to be part of a progressive organization that blends clinical care with advocacy, research, and education.
• At least two years of clinical experience as an NP/PA in community health, public health, or trauma-informed care is highly valued.
• Strong commitment to team-based care and an ability to thrive in a mission- and values-driven environment.

Requirements

Required Knowledge, Experience, or Licensure/Registration

1. MD or DO degree
2. Current Massachusetts license
3. Board eligibility or certification in family medicine, internal medicine, or medicine/pediatrics
4. Current AAHIVM credentials
5. Demonstrated ability to work respectfully and effectively with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences. This includes engaging constructively with colleagues, patients, clients, and vendors in a manner that reflects professionalism, empathy, and cultural awareness, without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, or other protected characteristics as defined by applicable law.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

1. OSHA Category 1: involves exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues
2. Physical Requirements

• Regularly required: sitting; using hands to manipulate objects/tools/controls; reaching with hands and arms; talking; hearing
• Frequently required: lifting and/or moving up to 10 lbs.
• Occasional required: lifting and/or moving up to 25 lbs.
• Vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision depth perception, ability to adjust focus

3. Noise Level: usually quiet

This is a union position in a Fenway Health bargaining unit represented by 1199 SEIU United Healthcare Workers East.

Salary Description
$205,000- $262,500 /year
