Contact Center Sales Team Lead

Position Overview The Contact Center Sales Team Lead is a hybrid role sharing dual responsibilities for sales and leadership. Associates in this role are expected to drive sales of TruGreen products and services in an inside sales environment. This role will support Contact Center leadership with delegated responsibilities around mentoring other sales reps and driving sales efficiency and performance. This is a developmental role, providing the associate the opportunity to lead by example and develop leadership competencies to prepare them for increased responsibility or advanced roles. Responsibilities Engage with customers and prospects via acquisition & outbound calls to present and sell the full range of TruGreen services. Demonstrate advanced sales process knowledge and execution through exceptional ability to convert prospects into new customers, upsell/bundle service lines, and retain customers. Demonstrate advanced product knowledge and superior service leading to improved customer experience and strong sales numbers. Lead and influence team members by example, demonstrating the highest quality of sales skill and customer focus in a manner that peers can learn from and replicate. Support the Contact Center Supervisor (and other leaders as required) in monitoring sales representatives’ metrics/conversations and coaching them on sales skills and efficiency to drive a higher level of individual and team performance. Accept other delegated responsibilities from Contact Center leadership as needed to support sales objectives, including but not limited to new hire training support and facilitation, team management, and providing support while actively pursuing individual sales targets. Achieve individual sales targets on designated sales shifts as well as assist the team to achieve sales targets during supervisory shifts. Provide coaching sessions and training facilitation in person or virtually. Regularly monitor live calls to provide immediate coaching, including barging in, taking over, and assisting agent with customer. Support location leadership in all on‑site requirements including safety protocols and regulations, health screenings, and basic facilities upkeep. Education and Experience Requirements High School diploma or GED required with 2+ years of Contact Center, Telemarketing, or Inside Sales experience. Associate degree or higher secondary education preferred. 3+ years of experience in sales, telemarketing, or call center experience strongly preferred. 1 or more years of senior‑level sales experience preferred. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Windows, Outlook) and web‑based applications. Knowledge of sales and up‑selling techniques (e.g., overcoming objections, closing sales, suggestive selling). Data entry skills. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with possible shifting schedules in support of leadership team coverage plans. Ability to build customer relationships and provide customer service. Advanced knowledge of the industry, organization, products, and/or services. Demonstrated success leading others. Eligibility Physical presence in the United States is required. Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and possible shifting schedules is required. Pay Range $31,819.00 - $58,865.00 (based on qualifications and experience).
