Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Epic)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 36–48 hours per week (3x12s) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff within the Emergency Room setting
• Coordinate patient care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and professional judgment
• Apply independent and supervisory discretion in dynamic, fast-paced emergency care situations
• Accurately document patient care activities using Epic and other electronic medical record systems

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification
• AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification
• Recent Epic experience within the last 12 months, as well as Cerner experience within the last 5 years; each work history entry must identify the charting system used, with dates provided if multiple EMR systems were used within a single role

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Acute care facility experience
