Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Part-Time Orthodontic Registered Dental Assistant (Ortho RDA) to support multiple locations. This role is ideal for a skilled orthodontic assistant who enjoys variety, teamwork, and the flexibility of working across different offices while maintaining consistent, high-quality patient care.

Schedule (days/hours)

Wednesdays and Thursdays 8-5PM

Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during a variety of procedures, including bracket placement, adjustments, and wire changes
• Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments according to infection control standards
• Take orthodontic records, including digital scans, impressions, and X-rays as needed
• Provide patient education on orthodontic appliances, oral hygiene, and treatment care
• Ensure patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
• Travel between assigned office locations as scheduled
• Support smooth clinic flow and collaborate with multiple teams

Qualifications

* Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification required
* CPR

• Prior orthodontic assisting experience required
• Strong knowledge of orthodontic procedures, instruments, and terminology
• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to different office environments and teams
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Willingness and ability to travel between locations

Compensation

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
