For more information on Guerbet, go to and follow Guerbet on Linkedin, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube Summary of the position: This position is responsible for performing all warehouse staging, shipping and receiving functions including proper receipt and handling of all materials and items entering the receiving and shipping sectors of the facility essential to plant operations. This is a 2nd shift position: M-F, 6:30pm to 3:00am. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Uploads, pulls, and moves finished goods, inventoried and non-inventoried materials via manual handling and fork truck operation. Palletizes, stacks, and shrink wraps materials to facilitate warehousing and distribution operations Inspects and verify item counts against freight bills, bills of lading, inter-branch, and packing forwarders and samples shipping orders of materials to be shipped Separates, identifies, and receives materials against purchase and credit orders and enters purchase materials receipts via computer data entry/bar code systems for inventory control Moves, transfers, and distributes materials to facilitate plant operations or customer support according to standard operating procedures. Uses computer to inquire on inventory status and via the inventory bar code system program to move and/or transfer inventory by data entry of item, lot, quantity, and location destinations for finished goods and other inventoried material Performs miscellaneous warehousing functions including cycle counts and providing support to the M&D Team, other plant teams, and customers Performs other duties as assigned by management Department Specific/ Non-Essential Functions: Works safely in accordance with regulations, standards, and procedures and in a manner that eliminates unreasonable risk to health and the environment Notifies management of unsafe conditions or practices, unlawful activities and activities which present unreasonable health and/or environmental risk Reports all safety and/or environmental incidents to management immediately Cross-training to perform tasks and roles outside of the primary responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned by management Education, Experience, and/or Skill: Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent GED 2 - 4 years in manufacturing warehouse environment experience preferred Fork Truck certified. APICS certification or equivalent a plus Working knowledge of cGMPs, good warehouse procedures including lot, location control, FEFO and FIFO principles SAP Knowledge Physical Requirements: Mental and visual acuity for production of and identification of quality product Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Cognitive Requirements: Basic math skills required Basic writing skills required Good verbal and written communication skills Must be able to positively contribute to a team-based environment Ability to recognize and communicate problems/discrepancies Demonstrated problem solving skills Working Conditions: Warehouse environment – climate controlled Varying levels of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn upon entry to the warehouse and other areas of the plant Organizational Relationship/Scope: Interfaces with all areas of the plant and all levels of management Has frequent contact and interaction with outside vendors and customers Back-up for the position: all Warehouse Associates are crossed trained Reason to join US Much more than a Competitive salary, We offer continued personal development.
