CNC Machinist

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, technical expertise, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Mount Juliet

Pay Range: $62400 - $72800

Shift: 3rd shift - Sunday – Wednesday 7:00 PM – 5:30 AM

What's the Job?

• Set up, operate, and adjust various types of conventional and CNC machines including lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other precision equipment.
• Work from detailed drawings and written instructions to create high-quality parts.
• Write, edit, and troubleshoot CNC programs to ensure parts meet specified tolerances.
• Perform inspections and measurements throughout production to verify conformance to specifications.
• Assist in machine changeovers and perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 4 years' experience in a manufacturing environment with CNC machining and programming.
• Knowledge of CNC operations, programming, and editing.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and prints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and basic math proficiency.
