In this unarmed role, you will support access awareness and respond to site needs with agility, reliability, and innovation while working as part of a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.85 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMTue06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and other security‑related concerns. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor processes, and report policy violations, maintenance concerns, or suspicious behavior according to site procedures. Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with employees, guests, and/or contractors while following post orders and client‑facing expectations for a fast‑paced business location. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
