Senior Project Manager / PM Lead

We are currently seeking talented individuals to join our team in the role of Senior Project Manager / PM Lead. This role combines hands-on project leadership with end-to-end ownership of the Project Management function. Approximately 30% of the role is dedicated to leading complex projects as a Senior Project Manager, while 70% focuses on leading, developing, and steering the Project Management team and its overall delivery performance. The PM Lead acts as the central accountability point for delivery across all projects, ensuring successful execution in terms of scope, timelines, quality, and commercial outcomes. The role operates with a high degree of autonomy and is responsible for driving delivery excellence, establishing standards, and continuously improving the way projects are managed and delivered across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Delivery Ownership Lead, mentor, and manage a team of up to 11 Project Managers, fostering a high-performance, accountable, and delivery-focused culture. Own the overall delivery performance of the Project Management team, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and at the expected quality level. Act as the primary escalation point for delivery-related topics, resolving cross-project issues and conflicts independently. Drive performance management, including regular feedback, development planning, and handling of low performance where required. Project Management (Hands-on Delivery) Lead complex IT projects involving multiple teams, distributed delivery models, and critical dependencies. Manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring control over scope, budget, schedule, risks, and quality. Apply structured project management methodologies (PRINCE2 or equivalent), adapted to hybrid (Agile/Waterfall) environments. Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication and alignment at all levels. Define and own the Project Management strategy, including methodologies, governance frameworks, standards, and tooling. Establish and enforce consistent project management practices across all projects to ensure transparency, predictability, and delivery excellence. Drive the evolution and adoption of project management tools, frameworks, and templates across the organization. Identify systemic risks, delivery challenges, and patterns across projects and proactively address them. Collaborate closely with Sales and Solution teams, supporting pre-sales activities and ensuring a smooth transition from sales to delivery. Ensure strong feedback loops from delivery into sales, improving offerings and future engagements. Our Requirements: Minimum 8 years of experience managing complex IT projects. At least 4 years of experience leading and managing Project Managers. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, multi-stream initiatives. Strong experience with structured project management methodologies (PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent). Demonstrated ability to operate in hybrid delivery environments (Agile and Waterfall). Strong leadership skills with a clear focus on ownership, accountability, and decision-making. Solid understanding of project financials and commercial drivers. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills. Experience working in cross-functional environments involving Sales, Delivery, and Consulting teams. Fluent Polish and English (spoken and written).
