Our flagship Vancouver location pioneered private wellness circuits that integrate hydrotherapy, sensory deprivation, and specialized materials. Circle Wellness is now preparing to open its first U.S. location in Fremont, Seattle.

Role Description

Reporting to the General Manager, with a facilities focus, this role is essential in supporting our team and ensuring that guests receive a seamless, elevated experience. The Assistant General Manager will oversee daily facilities maintenance, uphold health and safety protocols, guide the back-of-house and cleaning teams, coordinate with trades and assist with daily operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, solutions-focused, and passionate about wellness and hospitality. They are comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and committed to supporting our vision of delivering transformative wellness experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with leading and developing a team of 25 staff, including 4 Managers on Duty and 1 Lead Cleaner, to maintain consistent service excellence.
• Lead facility maintenance and vendor coordination to address immediate repair and cleaning needs.
• Supervise Cleaning Team, providing leadership, support, and oversight to ensure consistent service and cleanliness.
• Execute daily opening and closing procedures, ensuring the facility is fully operational and guest-ready.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the Circuits and reception areas, ensuring strict compliance with health and safety protocols.
• Provide hands-on support during peak hours and special projects, acting as a reliable and proactive operational leader.
• Participate in strategic planning discussions, offering operational and facility focused insights that contribute to growth and guest satisfaction.
• Support the General Manager in day-to-day operations to ensure all departments function efficiently and to the highest standards.
• Support inventory management, including routine assessments and reordering of spa supplies, cleaning materials, and retail merchandise.
• Serve as the acting leader of the spa in the absence of the General Manager, ensuring smooth daily operations, team support, and an exceptional guest experience.
• Monitor spa systems during sessions, making real-time adjustments to optimize facility features and guest experience.
• Assist with guest communications across platforms, resolving complaints and questions in a timely, professional manner.
• Assist the General Manager with guest scheduling platforms, including monitoring cancellations, waitlists, and rescheduling to ensure smooth flow and accurate bookings.
• Assist with onboarding, training, and mentoring new team members to uphold Circle Wellness standards.
• Act as a secondary point of contact in emergency situations, ensuring guest and staff safety and appropriate issue resolution.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of management or supervisory experience in hospitality, spa, or wellness-related operations.
• Experience overseeing operational teams, including front-of-house and cleaning or facilities staff.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts.
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong understanding of facilities and facility operations.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain health and safety standards in a guest-facing environment.
• Available to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• A proactive mindset with a strong sense of accountability, reliability, and follow-through.

Compensation:

• $30-35 per hour
• Vacation: 3 weeks per year
