Key Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams through planning, design, and construction documentation phases
  

• Manage projects with responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction
  

• Maintain and expand relationships with public agency clients
  

• Lead engineering design for roadway and transportation projects , including MDOT projects
  

• Coordinate internal resources and provide mentorship to junior engineers and technicians
  

• Support business development activities and identify new project opportunities
  

• Attend client meetings, site visits, and industry events as needed
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  

• Minimum 8 years of transportation/highway engineering experience , including MDOT project work
  

• At least 5 years of project management experience
  

• Professional Engineer (PE) license required (strongly preferred; candidates without PE may be considered)
  

• Proficient in managing multidisciplinary engineering teams
  

• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
  

• Willingness to attend meetings, perform site visits, and travel as needed
