We are a family owned and operated therapy company dedicated to quality patient care and customer service.We are currently seeking a committed and patient-focused Physical Therapist Assistant to provide rehabilitation services in one of our locations. The Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for providing physical therapy treatments to patients to facilitate increased independence and functioning under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Implements patient's individualized treatment plan as established by the primary Physical TherapistWork with other members of the rehabilitation team to implement programs consistent with the needs and capabilities of each patientActs as an assistant to the Physical Therapist when the Physical Therapist is performing tests, evaluations, and complex proceduresInstructs patients, families and other caregivers in the skills and techniques of the physical therapy treatment program under the supervision of the Physical TherapistRequirements:Valid license to practice physical therapySkilled Nursing Facility experience preferredRequired Experience:Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, critical thinking skills, basic math skills.Compassion, patience, and a positive attitudeBecome part of an innovative approach to skilled nursing facility rehabilitation and help shape our dynamic team!Arbor Rehabilitation and Healthcare Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer and promotes a drug-free workplace. #J-18808-Ljbffr Arbor-Rehabilitation-1
