Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, professional nursing care tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.
• Conduct assessments, plan, implement, document, and evaluate patient care, adjusting to changes in patient status and assignments as necessary.
• Utilize the nursing process to deliver individualized patient care.
• Develop and document care plans based on thorough assessments and diagnoses.
• Respond effectively to life-threatening situations with appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications, including IV therapy, with accuracy.
• Educate patients and their families regarding care plans and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain a safe environment and adhere to infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant healthcare setting.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Wisconsin Registered Nursing license.
• BLS certification is required or must be obtained within one month of hire.
• ACLS certification is required or must be obtained within six months of hire.
