IT Director, Development Business Partner

Kymera Therapeutics seeks an IT Director to serve as senior technology leader embedded within the Development organization. The role requires expertise in clinical-stage biotech systems, Veeva Vault implementation, and regulatory compliance, with responsibility for technology strategy across the development portfolio as the company scales toward Phase 3 and NDA submission.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary IT business partner across Development organization, building relationships with Clinical Operations, Quality, Biometrics, Regulatory, and related functions
- Define and execute technology roadmap balancing near-term delivery with Phase 3 and NDA readready positioning
- Lead Veeva Vault QMS, eTMF, and CTMS implementations with vendors and partners
- Identify and prioritize AI-enabled opportunities within the Development portfolio in partnership with IT leadership
- Challenge conventional approaches and reimagine Development processes and systems for improved efficiency
Requirements
- Experience navigating full clinical development arc from early trials through Phase 3, NDA submission, and commercialization
- Deep expertise with Veeva Vault and validated systems in regulated environments
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks for clinical development
- Proven ability to build trusted partnerships across multiple functions and organizations
- Strategic mindset with experience driving technology roadmaps and continuous process improvement
- Experience identifying and implementing AI-enabled solutions in life sciences contexts
