Shadow lead technicians to learn how to educate customers on their systems, set clear expectations, and provide top-tier service. Learn how to identify system enhancements, provide accurate options, and contribute to company growth benchmarks. Understand how to explain the value of high-efficiency equipment to clients so they can make informed choices. Assist with basic startups and routine maintenance for residential HVAC equipment. Maintain open communication with dispatch, your manager, parts, and installation teams. Shadow coordination efforts with other service trades, contractors, and vendors as needed. Keep the company truck clean, organized, and properly stocked with parts and materials. Participate in morning meetings, trade shows, training programs, and retreats What You Bring 0–2 years of residential HVAC experience (trade school graduates or field helpers welcome). EPA Universal / Type 2 Certification is preferred. Ownership of standard personal hand tools (specialty gauges/meters will be taught/provided). A valid driver’s license, a clean background/drug screen, and the desire to be better tomorrow than you are today Physical Requirements And Work Environment Ability to frequently climb ladders, crawl into tight spaces (attics/crawlspaces), and stand or kneel for long periods. Comfortable working in non-climate-controlled environments and outdoors in all weather conditions. Capacity to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 50 lbs independently and heavier equipment with assistance.
