Pricing Specialist
$16.50/hr Long's Human Resource Services is now hiring a Pricing Specialist for a busy office environment in Saraland. This position works closely with pricing, finance, sales, and internal departments to maintain accurate customer pricing and product information within the company system. This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented role ideal for someone who enjoys administrative work, data entry, organization, and problem solving. The company is seeking someone dependable, professional, and comfortable handling a high volume of pricing updates and system maintenance. Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate customer and product pricing information in company systems
- Perform high-volume data entry and pricing updates
- Work closely with multiple departments to obtain approvals for pricing changes
- Communicate with sales representatives and managers regarding pricing updates and questions
- Assist with audit-related tasks and reporting requirements
- Maintain confidentiality when handling financial and pricing information
- Review and update customer, product, and buying group information
- Support pricing strategy implementation and maintenance
- Meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Provide general administrative and departmental support as needed
- Previous data entry experience required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and within a team environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, including Excel
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
- Professional attitude and reliable work ethic
- Experience with AS400 is a plus, but not required
- High school diploma or GED required
