Contract | 4x10-hour shifts with variable schedule and shared on-call rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide SSSU/PACU nursing care with float coverage across the entire Outpatient Services area, including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, and Pre-operative Clinic
• Support conscious sedation for special procedures as needed to meet hospital needs
• Perform nursing assessments utilizing strong Pre, PACU, and Phase II skills
• Deliver peri-operative education and care to patients throughout the surgical continuum
• Recognize and respond to post-anesthesia and post-operative complications

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of two years of SSSU/PACU/Pre/Post experience
• Strong Pre-operative, PACU, and Phase II clinical skills
• Ability to float to all areas within Outpatient Services

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge nurse experience
• Experience in Endoscopy or Day Surgery settings
