Mid-Level Oracle Database Administrator

Supporting the U.S. Government Publishing Office, the full-time remote Mid-Level Oracle Database Administrator will perform day-to-day database administration, troubleshooting, and configuration while assisting with capacity planning and system health monitoring. Key responsibilities Perform day-to-day Oracle database administration, troubleshooting, and configuration under the guidance of the Senior Oracle DBA Support proactive capacity planning and system health monitoring for Oracle database environments Manage and resolve assigned RFCs and ServiceNow tickets in accordance with operational SLAs Required qualifications Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Database Administrator in enterprise production environments Expertise in Oracle, Oracle Grid, Oracle RMAN, and PL/SQL Working familiarity with SQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MS Access Experience with ITSM/ticketing platforms, such as ServiceNow Familiarity with database monitoring and capacity planning tools
