Job Opportunity – Emergency Medicine Physician – Community Hospital
Start Date: As needed
Location: Details provided to qualified applicants
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Ongoing need; shifts scheduled as needed with 1-day orientation and 1-2 days of shadowing
Highlights:
- Level 3 Trauma Center with 28 emergency bays serving approximately 54,000 ER visits annually
- 15% admission rate with normal community hospital patient mix
- Nurse and APP triage support for lower acuity patients
- Full emergency department support staff in place
- EMR: Meditech Expanse
- Sole community hospital serving the region
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (5-year requirement for eligibility)
- Active and unrestricted medical license
- Case logs required for credentialing
- New graduates considered if Board Eligible
- Emergency privileges not available – full credentialing required
