Associate Director, Medical & Scientific Communications

As a product and disease state expert within Medical Affairs, the Associate Director, Scientific Communications will provide medical, scientific and technical expertise to scientific communications deliverables for marketed and pipeline products. They will help develop, manage and track scientific communication plans as well as create and review deliverables for medical and scientific accuracy. The Associate Director will ensure compliance with Alkermes policies, procedures, and best-practices and support the development of key product materials for marketed and pipeline products.This position is eligible for the hybrid workplace model, requiring work to be completed onsite at our Waltham, MA office at least 3 days per week. Alkermes is an E-Verify employer.Basic Qualifications:Healthcare/scientific related degrees may be consideredMinimum 5 years' experience in Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, or related field in the industry with a MD/PhD/PharmDPreferred Qualifications:Experience in the development and review (i.e. Medical, Regulatory, and Legal) of MSL materials and scientific platforms preferredExperience with Veeva Vault Advanced scientific degree preferred (MD, PhD, PharmD)The annual base salary for this position ranges from $188,000 to $200,460. In addition, this position is eligible for an annual performance pay bonus. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, training, knowledge, and experience.
