Registered Nurse (RN)

Responsibilities Provide on‑site nursing and care in a supportive setting for adolescents and young adults. What You’ll Do Administer medications and monitor vital signs, ensuring accurate documentation in medical records. Evaluate medical complaints and concerns from residents, effectively communicating with Nurse Practitioners and Physicians. Develop and implement treatment plans, providing direct care and nursing services as prescribed. Monitor chronic health conditions, respiratory distress, and seizures, ensuring timely interventions. Maintain comprehensive medical records and logs, adhering to all mandated reporting and infection control protocols. Collaborate with Behavioral Care Staff regarding medication management and refills. Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings, contributing expertise to enhance patient care. Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a Nursing Degree. Licensure: Current RN licensure with the State Board of Nursing. Experience: Experience in healthcare, especially with teens or young adults, is preferred. Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to make sound judgment calls in high‑pressure scenarios. Team Player: Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork, fostering a collaborative environment. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records (EHR). Crisis Management: Ability to react quickly and calmly as part of a team in emergent situations.
