Transportation Security Officer

Rocky Mountain Protective Service Inc. is hiring Transportation Security Officers to support professional security operations.

Responsibilities

• Screen individuals, personal property, and baggage.

• Follow established security procedures and company policies.

• Operate assigned security screening equipment after completing required training.

• Conduct inspections and physical screening procedures when required.

• Identify and report prohibited items, suspicious activity, or security concerns.

• Maintain a safe, professional, and orderly screening environment.

• Provide courteous and professional customer service.

• Follow instructions from lead and supervisory personnel.

• Complete all required training and certifications.

• Maintain required identification and security credentials.

• Complete required reports and documentation.

• Work assigned shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Must be able to successfully complete required background screening and credentialing.

• Must successfully complete all required training and certification.

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.

• Must be able to follow detailed security procedures.

• Must be comfortable working with the public.

• Must be able to stand and remain active for extended periods.

• Must be able to handle baggage and personal property as required.

• Must be dependable, professional, and able to work as part of a team.

• Must be available to work a flexible schedule.

Previous experience in security, aviation security, military service, law enforcement, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
