Senior Transportation Project Manager

A multi-discipline engineering firm with over 50 years in business is looking for a Senior Transportation Project Manager for their Milwaukee office! This is a hybrid position that includes in office work three days a week and remote work two days per week. Responsibilities include leading transportation infrastructure projects, establishing work plans/staffing for projects, coordinating engineer, technician, and production staff activities, preparing reports, specifications, and communications, assisting with business development, conducting meetings with internal teams and clients, supervising design/technical development, ensuring project goals are met within time/budget constraints, ensuring projects are delivered profitably, preparing design calculations/plans for a variety of design projects, collaborating with engineers, designers, and technicians, mentoring/training junior staff, and traveling to client meetings as needed.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with an emphasis on transportation or highway design, 8+ years of highway design/plan development or related transportation experience, 5+ years of experience managing multi-disciplined projects, PE License in the State of Wisconsin; registration in two or more states preferred, strong working knowledge of the project development process, previous business development experience, ability to write descriptive/technically accurate proposals, specifications, and reports, ability to participate in, facilitate, or lead project team meetings, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook), experience working with MicroStation and/or OpenRoads, experience collaborating with a multi-disciplined team of highway design, traffic, bridge (structural), and water resources engineering professionals preferred, and working knowledge of Wisconsin DOT design/plan standards preferred.
