Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for CCU and CVICU patients, including hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and rapid response to physiologic changes
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, update care plans, and document in the electronic medical record
- Administer medications and therapies per physician orders; manage arterial and central lines and IV access; monitor labs and patient status
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, cath lab teams, and other care providers; participate in rounds and handoffs
- Participate in call rotation and cross-coverage obligations; float to Medical-Surgical/Acute Care as needed
- Ensure patient safety and infection control; provide patient and family education as appropriate

Requirements
- Colorado RN license in good standing
- BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association; PALS (AHA) documentation may be required for submission
- Minimum 3 years of RN Critical Care experience
- Day 0 CVICU experience with strong CVICU skills; ability to cover CCU as needed
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, weekends, and participate in call rotations; ability to float to Acute Care if requested
