Medical Assistant/LPN - Emerald ClinicEmerald Clinic - Boise, ID 83704OverviewPosition Type: Full-time Job Shift: Daytime Education Level: RMA / CMA Travel Percentage: Negligible Category: Health CareDescriptionWe are looking for a Medical Assistant to support our Emerald Family Medicine Clinic!Purpose The Medical Assistant (MA) shall be accountable for 1) providing excellent direct patient care alongside our providers, 2) supporting the Patient Centered Medical Home model of care and 3) maintaining accurate and complete documentation within the patient's medical record.QualificationsEducationCompletion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program or LPN from accredited College of Nursing.Licensure / CertificationCurrently certified by American Medical Technologists, American Association of Medical Assistants, American Registry of Medical Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurse or other accredited certifying organization.ExperienceEntry level; previous medical assistant or LPN experience preferred.Previous experience in a primary care clinic / outpatient setting preferred.Other:Our organization is a tobacco-free workplace.We require immunizations for all staff to include an annual influenza vaccine as a requisite for employment.
