DescriptionJOB DETAILSDepartment: IS&T Technology EnablementFTE: 1.0 (80hours per pay period)Shift(s): DaysLocation: Remote (with occasional on-site visits based on business needs)This position will be supporting the PeopleSoft FSCM system – GL, AM, AP, Supply Chain/Procurement, and Contracting.Purpose of this position: Under limited supervision, this position coordinates consultations with internal customers to analyze, design, develop and maintain the technical application systems to support business needs. Responsible for translating business requirements into technical system specifications for the application teams within the IS&T department. Consult with end users on how to effectively use functionality. Provide recommendations to management on process improvement, new processes tools and techniques or services. Provide on-going support to end users.RESPONSIBILITIESIdentifies and defines business, functional, and interface requirementsProcesses new service requests from the analysis and definition of customer requirementsConstructs workflow charts and diagramsTroubleshoots production issues, provides system resolutions and recommendations for business process changeValidates resource requirements, develop cost estimate models, and gain sign-off from stakeholdersCommunicates with internal IT providers of hardware, software, and network requirementsImproves current systems by studying practices and designing modificationsPrepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trendsImplements, tests, and deploys solutions to business problemsFollows incident, change, and release management processesManages projects by developing project plans and monitoring performanceResponsible for supporting the analysis, configuration, maintenance, testing, training, and support for cloud and computer based corporate application system upgrades, new releases, optimization, and implementations for the organizationWorks with the business to develop and execute a roadmap that aligns with HHS’ strategy and standards. This role will entail leading and fulfilling project management tasks for key projectsCollaborates with business owners to analyze complex issues or pain points and generate options that will ultimately lead to planning, design, and implementation of solutionsTranslates business requirements into technical requirements and works with development teams to implement custom solutions within existing applications/architecturesDevelops test cases/scenariosProvides regular and/or off hour on call support as scheduledPerforms other duties as assignedQualificationsQUALIFICATIONSMinimum Qualifications:6 years’ relevant experienceAssociates of Arts (AA) or Bachelor’s degree-OR-An approved equivalent combination of education and experiencePreferred Qualifications:Ability to collaborate and bring teams togetherExperience developing technical/systems design specifications and building system solutionsExperience executing risk mitigation plansInterpret vendor technical documentation as pertains to Hennepin HealthCare’s environment/infrastructureDemonstrated ability to spearhead resolution of team related issuesFunctional knowledge of Supported ApplicationsProject Management expertiseAbility to assist with developing cost benefit analysisKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:Advanced problem solving and analytical skillsExpert verbal & written communication skillsAbility to think strategically and demonstrate flexibility to adapt to changes in organizational or department prioritiesDemonstrated analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and conflict resolution skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritize tasksDemonstrable proficiency in simultaneously managing multiple priorities and assignmentsAbility to explain or demonstrate technology in a manner suited to the audienceAbility to provide customer focused service and communicate the value of proposed solutionsAbility to communicate issue updates to stakeholdersAbility to serve as subject matter expert for technical questionsJob Level: StaffEmployee Status: Regular
