Senior Repair Specialist

Location Dahlgren, Virginia Salary $110,000 - $120,000 Security Clearance An active DoD Secret clearance Responsibilities Responsible for maintaining, conducting maintenance, repair and install of hardware. Troubleshoot hardware issues down to the circuit board level and fabricating custom cables. Required Qualifications Three (3) years of general maintenance and repair experience in computer based electro-mechanical equipment. Demonstrated ability to solder multi-layer circuit cards, cables, and connectors. Demonstrated ability to analyze circuit card assemblies to identify problems at the component level. Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics. Work with electrical diagnostic tools. Follow existing procedures for equipment at the component, chassis, or system level. Perform research on Commercial-Off-The- Shelf (COTS) material. Ability to travel (CONUS). Ability to lift up to 50lbs, assist in moving equipment, and ability to crawl underneath a raised flooring system to set up electrical wires. Must be able to obtain desired certifications with 90 days of start and maintain such certifications. Desired Certifications Must obtain a valid J-STD-001 solder certification within 90 days of start. Must obtain an Operator IPC 620 wire harness and cable certification within 90 days of start. Experience Experience with ring laser gyroscope, such as AN/WSN-7. Experience with 400HZ converter sets. Experience with NAVSSI and GPNTS.
