Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Data platform.

Qualifications

3–8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Platform Engineering, or GCP Data Engineering roles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Google Cloud Data Platform Expertise
Strong hands-on experience with Google BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow (Apache Beam), and Looker/LookML.
Experience designing and maintaining scalable data platforms and pipelines on GCP.
Proficiency in SQL and Python or Java.
Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and streaming data processing.
Strong knowledge of data modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas).
Experience with Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer (Airflow), and IAM.
Good understanding of cloud-native architecture, orchestration, and security best practices.
Experience implementing data governance frameworks, data quality controls, metadata management, lineage, and data security/compliance standards.
