PRN Pharmacist

Responsibilities Verify physician orders and medication accuracy using pharmacy systems. Supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring compliance with regulations. Adjust dosages according to protocols, considering patient conditions and interactions. Educate patients on medication use and effects. Manage narcotics, inventory, and compliance tasks, including documentation and audits. Coordinate with healthcare staff to verify orders and obtain necessary information. Assist in maintaining pharmacy accreditation and implementing operational changes. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or PharmD. Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Florida in good standing. Preferred inpatient/hospital experience. Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for extended periods. Ability to work independently, apply judgment, and solve technical problems within defined parameters.
