Role snapshot Install, commission, and service UV flatbed and roll-to-roll printers across the U.S. Provide remote hotline support when not on the road (phone, email, TeamViewer) Refurbish trade-in systems and maintain demo printers at our Elgin, IL facility Collaborate with 2nd-level support and engineering in Switzerland to enhance performance Complete service-related administrative tasks and reporting Pursue continuous learning to maintain and expand technical credentials Location & travel Full-time role based in Elgin, IL Regular travel: approximately 40%–75% Arrange your own travel; keep any rewards points or benefits earned Core competencies Customer focus: Anticipate and meet customer needs Resiliency: Recover quickly from setbacks Interpersonal excellence: Communicate clearly and build rapport Time & priority management: Organize and execute effectively Accountability: Own your results Teamwork: Collaborate to achieve shared goals Qualifications Mechanical and electrical aptitude (strong foundation required) Experience installing/servicing printers preferred Professional written and verbal communication skills Team-oriented mindset Live near Elgin, IL or be willing and able to relocate Valid driver’s license Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Hands‑on skill set Mechanical troubleshooting Electrical diagnostics and repair Electrical troubleshooting Industrial automation troubleshooting Maintenance and repair of complex equipment Industrial electrical experience Field service readiness Why this role matters Every installation and service visit directly impacts customer productivity and satisfaction.
