Employment type: “Casual Employee” (per diem, hourly clinician role) Anticipated average of 8–20 patient‑care hours per week; actual hours vary based on office needs Location: Seeing patients across multiple offices in Washington, DC Offices include Maryland, Virginia and DC Weekly schedule will include hours at several clinics in Washington, DC Candidates must be willing to work at any of these locations as needed What you’ll be working on: Seeing patients with a broad array of needs, conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits (not a panel‑building role) Treating patients in‑office and conducting occasional tele‑health visits Collaborating with in‑office teammates via daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams Using your clinical training and performing in‑office procedures as needed Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role: At least 2 years of primary care experience Current licensure or ability to obtain licensure in Maryland, Virginia and/or Washington, DC Strong teamwork and communication skills, both 1‑on‑1 and in groups Ability to thrive in a fast‑growing, mission‑driven organization focused on data‑driven patient outcomes Enrollment in or completion of an accredited Family Medicine or Medicine/Pediatrics residency program Board certified in Family Medicine or Medicine/Pediatrics One Medical providers also demonstrate: A passion for human‑centered primary care Effective communication with patients of all backgrounds Proficiency in evidence‑based primary care and in‑office procedures Adaptability to uncertain situations and willingness to receive feedback Commitment to being an integral part of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery Casual/Per Diem/Locums Providers receive: Malpractice insurance – malpractice fees covered 100% UpToDate subscription – evidence‑based clinical research tool One Medical‑issued laptop for secure EHR access Sick time/paid time off eligible in accordance with local requirements Benefits package All regular team members working 24+ hours per week and their dependents are eligible for benefits starting on the team member’s date of hire. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on experience and patient‑care schedule.
