DELIVERY DRIVER

We are looking for aresponsible Delivery Driver to deliver products promptly to our customers. 7:00 am – 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, must be available for Overtime past 3:30 and some weekends. Hourly Rate $20.00-$25.00 Responsibilities Drive automatic transmission box truck and/or pick-up truck Deliver to commercial customers within state of Virginia Follow routes and time schedule Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle Complete logs and reports Follow regulations and safety standards Obtain customer signature on delivery paperwork Count and package sheet metal products Move product by hand, cart, pallet jack, or forklift Tasked with General Labor duties when not making deliveries Skills/Requirements Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver Valid driver’s license (non-CDL) Ability to operate forklifts to load and unload tractor trailers and straight trucks preferred Experience material handling / moving odd size or oversize products with forklift helpful but not required Ability to drive in a variety of weather and traffic conditions Excellent organizational and time management skills Good driving record with no traffic violations, must meet our insurance requirements. Lift 50-75 lbs, stand, walk, sit, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, reach and perform repetitive hand and finger movements Must have reliable transportation and/or ability to get to work on time every day Good attendance is mandatory. Need to be flexible & available for overtime Work is performed in a non-air conditioned plant, and smoking is allowed in some areas of building.
