Fuze HR is proud to partner with a leading frozen food manufacturer in Northeast Portland. We are seeking to find a motivated, team-oriented Food Production associate excited to join a fast-growing team!
As a Food Production Associate you will:
- Processing and manufacturing of the frozen food items
- Packaging preparation and coding
- Stocking boxes, bags, and prepping production equipment
- Transfer inventory between the production floor, storage freezers and the warehouse
- Follow all sanitation processes and procedures while on the production line
- Adhere to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), sanitation and food safety requirements
- Understand and follow all expectations outlined by the company
- Work well with all members of the company, from peers on the production line to leadership
- Work well under pressure to meet production expectations and have strong attention-to-detail
- Work independently, productively and be able to manage multiple projects
- Palletizing finished goods in a freezer environment
Food Production Associate Job Requirements include:
- Ability to come in contact with allergens including but not limited to: nuts, dairy, gluten, latex
- Work with automated and semi-automated ice cream equipment (continuous freezer, packaging equipment, liquid nitrogen tunnel, etc.)
- Work with manual and powered lifts
- Work with manual and power tools (box knife, hammer, drill, etc)
- Work with hazardous chemicals
- Stand, walk and lift for long periods of time throughout a shift
- Communication with all department managers and supervisors, occasional visitors, and contracted workers operating within the facility
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs
- Work periodically in a cold storage environment
