CT Scan Technologist – Allied Travel

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Friday–Sunday, 8:00 AM–8:30 PM (Three 12-hour shifts per week, no on-call responsibilities) | Onsite | Projected Start: September 7, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scan procedures under the direction of the Medical Director, Section Head, Clinical Specialist, Manager, and Radiologist in a Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center setting
• Utilize CT modality to produce diagnostic images while ensuring a safe and positive patient experience
• Conduct CT exams on outpatients, inpatients (stable and intensive care), research patients, and patients requiring specialized CT scan-guided procedures, including trauma and emergency room scanning
• Practice and enforce radiation safety measures in accordance with New York State Department of Health code part 16
• Support teaching initiatives and pursue continued learning as CT technology evolves

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology program
• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography, or a valid limited permit to practice in New York State
• Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification
• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced trauma or academic medical center environment
• Familiarity with CT scan-guided procedures and imaging of intensive care patients
