They are generalists on all diseases and specialists in symptom management, requiring excellence in assessment and critical thinking. Primary RN s have an assigned caseload of patients and lead the interdisciplinary team caring for those patients. We provide care wherever our patients call home - private homes, nursing homes, group homes or assisted living facilities. Hospice nurses thrive at HopeWest, an environment which fosters personalized care. The Primary Registered Nurse has a weekday schedule of Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, with occasional back-up for weekends and on-call. There is flexibility in arranging your daily schedule, which provides a work/life balance allowing time for personal needs.
