The Division Chair will provide strategic leadership across Mayo Clinic’s three shields—clinical practice, research, and education—while advancing the Division’s national reputation for excellence in endocrinology, diabetes, metabolism, and nutrition. Division The Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, Metabolism, and Nutrition is committed to advancing the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of endocrine and metabolic diseases through excellence in patient care, education, and research. It serves patients across Mayo Clinic locations in Arizona, Florida, Minnesota, and the Mayo Clinic Health System and offers a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to endocrine disorders. Key programmatic strengths include diabetes technology and education, transplant‑related diabetes management, bone metabolism and osteoporosis services, advanced endocrine testing and therapies, and multidisciplinary specialty clinics developed in collaboration across multiple disciplines. Researchers collaborate closely with colleagues across Mayo Clinic to accelerate discovery and translate new findings into clinical practice through investigator‑initiated studies and clinical trials. Qualifications MD, DO, or MD/PhD with board certification in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Arizona Previous leadership experience in an academic setting Scholarly accomplishments appropriate for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor, with a minimum of 10+ years of experience post‑fellowship Demonstrated commitment to pursuing high‑impact, transformative innovation Evidence of effective mentorship and development of junior faculty Outstanding clinician with a successful track record of high‑quality clinical outcomes Region Phoenix, Arizona, offers an exceptional quality of life in the heart of the Sonoran Desert.
