Registered Nurse (RN) – PCU / Stepdown (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract – 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite | Travel

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Stepdown unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding appropriately to changes in patient status
• Maintain a patient ratio of 5:1, delivering safe and effective nursing care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and implement patient care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the facility EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Mississippi
• Minimum of 2 years of PCU, IMC, or Stepdown nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• PALS certification required (may be obtained within the first 3 weeks of assignment start)
• Permanent address must be located more than 50 miles from the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or Stepdown setting
• Familiarity with hospital EMR systems used in acute care environments
