Registered Nurse (RN) Palliative Care
Job Summary: The RN Palliative Care offers comfort-focused nursing to patients with serious illnesses, aiming to improve quality of life. This role involves managing symptoms, providing emotional support, and coordinating with healthcare teams to align care with patient goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage pain and other distressing symptoms in patients with chronic or life-limiting conditions.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, including social workers and spiritual care providers.
- Develop care plans reflecting patient and family needs and preferences.
- Offer emotional and psychosocial support to patients and families.
- Ensure thorough documentation of care plans and symptom management strategies.
