Job Title: Assistant Inside Sales Manager

Department: Pittsburgh Inside Sales

Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Reports To: Vice President

Job Overview:

The Assistant Inside Sales Manager will be a team player, providing the highest level of customer service to internal and external customers by implementing great communication, attention to detail, and technical skills.

• Manage multiple projects effectively while delivering high-quality work.
• Work well independently and as part of a team.
• High School Diploma Required – 2 or 4 year-degree with emphasis in a mechanical or technical field is a plus
• 3 to 5 years of related experience preferred
• Ability to pass background and reference checks and a drug screening.

Scope of Responsibility:

• Support Outside and Inside Sales with product, pricing, and policy questions
• Assist with new employee training
• Assist with distributing customer requests and monitoring Shared email
• Assist with creating and updating department standard operating procedures
• Provide project management for job releases by Outside Sales Engineer(s)
• Provide technical assistance to customers on all products represented
• Size and select for all products represented.
• Assist with marketing and event planning
• Review customer purchase orders for accuracy and required documentation
• Enter customer purchase orders accurately and efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction
• Enter vendor purchase orders per their method/ system accurately and efficiently
• Follow up with your customer orders by providing ship dates and coordinating deliveries as required
• Participate in product and company training to enhance job knowledge
• Exploring opportunities to add value to your career accomplishments
• Perform all other duties as assigned
