Friday - Sunday | 2pm - 9:30pm |$18.50/ht

Overtime possible based on business needs

Work Environment: Approximately 50% of the shift may be spent working outdoors.

Store Attendant Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk frequently throughout the shift
• Ability to work outdoors approximately 50% of the time in varying weather conditions
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to safely assist customers with loading and unloading merchandise
• Ability to work independently, resolve customer concerns, and recognize when an issue should be escalated to management
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe shopping environment
• Ability to move, organize, and retrieve shopping carts and other customer-use equipment
• Reliable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Previous retail, customer service, cart attendant, warehouse, or related experience preferred

About the Store Attendant Associate Role

As a Store Attendant , your responsibilities will include:

• Providing friendly, safe, and efficient loading and unloading assistance to customers
• Helping customers safely load merchandise into their vehicles
• Maintaining a clean and organized customer loading zone by removing carts, cardboard, strapping, and other materials
• Retrieving and distributing shopping carts and other shopping tools throughout the store
• Monitoring shopping tools and replenishing carts, bags, pencils, maps, twine, and other supplies throughout the business day
• Restocking shopping tools at closing to ensure the store is prepared for the following business day
• Inspecting physical shopping tools and equipment for damage or unsafe conditions
• Reporting digital shopping tool or technology issues to the appropriate team
• Assisting customers with questions and resolving routine concerns independently
• Escalating customer service issues to management when additional assistance is required
• Supporting Full Serve Hand Out operations and helping provide customers with an efficient merchandise pickup experience
• Assisting with Exchanges & Returns by properly staging products and equipment for the next step in the process
• Supporting Click & Collect by verifying and accurately handing customer orders over for pickup
• Maintaining the flow and availability of shopping carts and baby strollers throughout the store
• Supporting additional customer service areas based on daily business needs
• Maintaining a safe, clean, organized, and customer-friendly environment throughout the shift
