The Opportunity We're splitting our combined two-territory operation into two independently-run offices, and we're hiring the founding General Manager for the new Puyallup territory. This is a ground-floor leadership role: full P&L accountability for a standalone territory, backed by an established brand, a dedicated local team, and proven operating systems — including custom-built performance dashboards you'll use to run the business by the numbers, not gut feel. The territory split is happening specifically to give the Puyallup territory dedicated sales coverage, consistent lead response, and focused local leadership. You'll be the person who makes that focus pay off. Job Summary The General Manager is fully accountable for the overall performance of the Puyallup office, including financial results, growth, operational excellence, and team leadership. This role reports directly to the Owner, not into a regional or HQ structure, and translates the Owner's vision into clear priorities, builds a high-performing team, and drives disciplined execution across sales, recruiting, and care delivery to achieve sustainable growth and profitability. Key Responsibilities 1. Business Ownership & Financial Performance Accountable for full P&L performance, including revenue, hours, gross margin, and profitability Deliver defined year-over-year growth targets through disciplined management of sales, recruiting, and retention performance Establish and lead a metric-driven operating rhythm (daily, weekly, monthly reviews) using our dashboard suite Monitor performance dashboards, identify root causes, and execute corrective action plans Align staffing models, scheduling, and resource allocation to optimize profitability while maintaining high care quality 2. Growth & Market Development Build and manage a consistent referral generation engine with key healthcare and community partners Strengthen sales pipeline management and improve conversion performance Increase client retention and lifetime value through proactive service management Develop and execute a local Puyallup-market growth plan aligned with the Owner's long-term vision 3. Operational Excellence & Service Quality Implement and uphold standardized systems and best practices across sales, recruiting, and care delivery Maintain appropriate Care Pro supply to meet current and projected demand Ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and operational discipline Deliver consistent, high-quality client and Care Pro experiences Create operational clarity and accountability across all key roles 4. Strategy Execution & Continuous Improvement Execute network and HQ initiatives with discipline and clear accountability Pilot and refine local tactics to improve performance drivers Use business insights and performance trends to guide decisions and improvements Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational innovation 5. Team Leadership & Culture Recruit, develop, and retain strong Key Players and Care Pros. Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable to defined metrics. Provide coaching in sales effectiveness, recruiting performance, and service excellence. Foster a culture of ownership, urgency, collaboration, and care. Drive alignment within the office, across the state network, and with HQ. Performance Outcomes (KPIs) The General Manager is accountable for achieving results across: Net quarterly hours growth vs. the prior quarter Year-over-year hours growth Adjusted EBITDA / profitability (ODP) Sales conversion rate and pipeline health Recruiting yield, Care Pro retention, and staffing stability Client retention and satisfaction Team engagement, retention, and performance health Compensation Base salary: $90,000–$100,000 Eligible for a quarterly performance bonus tied to territory hours growth and profitability, with target bonus earnings of $30,000/year — actual bonus may be above or below target depending on performance Total target compensation: $120,000–$130,000+ We are actively rolling out a 401(k) plan with company match. Health benefits What We’re Looking For Prior management or P&L ownership experience in a service, hospitality, or senior care business. Track record of leading a team and being accountable for revenue or operational growth targets Comfort working with data — you’ll run the office off weekly dashboards and reporting, not gut feel Strong communicator who can lead a team and represent the office with referral partners and the community Based in or willing to be based in the Puyallup, WA area Hiring Process Multi-step interview process, including an initial phone screen, in person interviews, role play, and a presentation.
