Work Environment\nThis position is primarily remote, emphasizing flexibility while maintaining a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This balance allows you to manage your personal life while contributing significantly to the mental health of your clients. Although interactions are primarily virtual, you will be a key member of a collaborative team working in an outpatient Mental Health setting.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to gauge the severity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms, ensuring accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. \n
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on their unique needs, goals, and preferences to enhance engagement and efficacy. \n
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailoring approaches to fit individual patient profiles and circumstances. \n
- Provide educational resources and support to clients and their caregivers, facilitating a better understanding of mood disorders and effective self-care strategies. \n
- Monitor clients' progress throughout treatment, adjusting plans as necessary based on their evolving needs and response to interventions. \n
- Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, ensuring a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care that promotes optimal patient outcomes. \n
- Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health research and practice, applying current knowledge to enhance therapeutic strategies. \n
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards. \n
- Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to continually improve clinical skills and knowledge. \n
- Actively advocate for clients, working to reduce the stigma associated with mood disorders and promote awareness of mental health needs within the community. \n
Your role will primarily focus on individuals presenting mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. You will engage with a diverse clientele, addressing their psychological, social, and emotional challenges with empathy and skill.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Tennessee. \n
- Proficiency in evidence-based treatment approaches for mood disorders such as CBT and DBT, with a proven ability to apply these techniques effectively. \n
- Strong familiarity with psychopharmacology and experience collaborating with psychiatrists and other medical providers in a multidisciplinary setting. \n
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the aptitude for establishing rapport with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and life experiences. \n

- Demonstrated experience in providing treatment specifically for clients with mood disorders. \n
- History of successful patient outcomes, showcasing the ability to foster positive changes in clients' mental health. \n
- Previous experience working in an outpatient setting is a plus. \n
