Job Description U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – DevOps in Irving, TX. Essential Responsibilities Provide Tier 3 production support for U.S. Bank’s online banking applications and collaborate across teams to resolve UI issues that affect customers and branch-level bankers. Design and implement end‑to‑end automation solutions, including developing, testing, operating, and maintaining products with production‑ready code. Lead Infrastructure as Code initiatives and plan and execute cloud migration projects from on‑premises to Microsoft Azure, covering workload assessment, roadmap creation, phased execution, and resource provisioning. Set up CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment on Azure, and develop AI‑based integrations for automated analysis of build failures using OpenAI and GenAI APIs. Explore and evaluate AI/ML capabilities for DevOps optimization such as intelligent anomaly detection, auto‑remediation suggestions, and chat‑driven incident resolution. Build and maintain shared framework pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and Azure DevOps to standardize build, test, and deployment workflows across multiple teams. Ensure all aspects of software product development follow compliance and security best practices. Basic Qualifications Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and at least 5 years of progressive post‑baccalaureate experience as a Software Engineer. Required Skills/Experience 5 years of experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting business integration rules and process flows. Experience assisting with migration of business applications. Installation, configuration, and maintenance of WebSphere Application Server. Performance tuning through caching, queuing, pooling, and JVM parameter configuration. Monitoring performance, determining root cause, and documenting system build procedures. Processing workflows related to end‑user support and system administration. Development of operational documentation and specifications on system builds.
