Join us and our 18,000 colleagues to help make the world a brighter place. Major Tasks and Responsibilities Engineer and deploy AI and machine learning models into production environments. Design and implement comprehensive MLOps and AIOps pipelines for model lifecycle management. Create monitoring systems to detect model drift and implement automated retraining mechanisms. Architect scalable AI solutions leveraging cloud and edge computing technologies. Develop and maintain microservice architectures supporting AI deployments. Implement data pipelines to support training and inference needs across diverse data types. Partner with data scientists and Generative AI Engineers to optimize model performance and deployment efficiency. Work cross‑functionally with business stakeholders to align AI solutions with business needs. Evaluate and incorporate emerging AI technologies to maintain competitive advantage. Drive business value by successfully integrating AI capabilities into Covestro's core processes. Accelerate digital transformation through automated, intelligent solutions that enhance efficiency and innovation. Enable data‑driven decision making by making AI accessible and reliable for business users. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field with 7+ years’ experience; or Master’s degree with 5+ years’ experience; or PhD with 3+ years’ experience. 3+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with demonstrated success in production AI systems. Experience with modern AI frameworks. Strong expertise in containerization and cloud platforms. Proficiency with data processing technologies and database systems. Programming expertise in Python and familiarity with other languages. Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Adaptability to work in a fast‑paced environment with evolving technologies and requirements. Willingness to travel occasionally for collaboration purposes.
