This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of campus by vacuuming, mopping and waxing floors, cleaning carpets; emptying waste containers; cleaning restrooms, shower rooms, classrooms, offices, elevators, studies, hallways, stairwells, steps and lobbies; replacing light bulbs and fluorescent tubes; and removing snow and ice in all doorways, including walks leading to buildings.The ideal candidate is professional, punctual, has an eye for detail and can follow instructions through proper communication while working with little supervision.The Facilities team values effort and pride in a job well done. Experience with various cleaning techniques, supplies and machines is helpful but not required. WCU will provide training.As a member of the Facilities Divisional staff, this position is deemed essential.
