We are looking for reliable and caring CNA that speaks Creole in Gainesville and surrounding areas. We are an in-home health agency, and we have many different cases that will be a great fit for you! Our #1 priority is the safety of our patients and caregivers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides supportive and personal care services for clients in accordance with the plan of care and permitted under state law.

Adheres to the written and verbal instructions of the skilled nurse in providing client care.

Provides assistance with hands on personal care, simple procedures as an extension of therapy or nursing, assistance with ambulation or exercises and assistance in administering medications (if allowed by State Law) that are normally self-administered, hygiene and activities of daily living as directed.

Measures and records vital signs and intake/output as assigned.

Observes for and reports any safety hazards found in the client’s home.

Observes for and reports any changes in the client’s condition or other significant observations regarding the client.

Attends staff meetings and completes twelve (12) hours of in-services annually.

Reports any client concerns/complaints or grievances to the Administrator/Nurse Manager.

Maintains client confidentiality; complies with HIPAA requirements and Agency policies and procedures.

Accepts assignments and provides client care in compliance with the Aide scope of practice.

Represents the Agency in a positive and professional manner.

Complies with all Agency policies regarding ethical practices.

Other duties as assigned by the RN for which the Aide is trained and has been competency evaluated.

REQUIREMENTS:

Heavy lifting.

Ability to work for extended periods of time while standing.
