Role And Responsibilities Perform x-ray procedures, operate diagnostic equipment, and assist with patient movement and safety. Provide patient care including vital signs, medical history, and patient transfers. Communicate effectively with patients, manage wait times, and assist with procedures supervised by providers. Ensure quality control of radiology exams, prepare patients and equipment, and follow safety protocols including radiation protection. Maintain accurate documentation of patient visits, and report equipment malfunctions. Keep current with diagnostic imaging skills and maintain licensure and certification. Qualifications And Skills High school diploma or equivalent, BLS certification, TN State X-Ray License; ARRT certification preferred. Experience as a Medical Assistant is a plus. Strong communication, patient care, and technical skills, with attention to safety and quality standards. Key Duties Greet and assist patients, perform radiologic procedures, assist with clinical tasks, and ensure equipment functionality.
