Distribution Process Engineer

job summary:
Distribution Process Engineer opportunity located near the Lancaster, PA area to serve as the site process leader for a brand-new, highly automated distribution facility. In this high-impact role, you will drive continuous improvement, optimize product flow and throughput analysis, and lead operational efficiency alongside 40+ manual operators and advanced robotics. Relocation assistance is available. This position is bonus eligible and the client offers a solid benefits package.

responsibilities:

• Serve as the site process leader driving continuous and process improvement initiatives across a newly established, highly automated distribution center.
• Conduct throughput analysis, optimize product flow, and analyze human movements to maximize operational efficiency and safety.
• Collaborate closely with site leadership, manual operators, and external vendors to streamline warehouse workflows and system operations.
• Leverage leadership by influence to implement lean practices, eliminate bottlenecks, and enhance overall site productivity.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to support ongoing facility ramp-up and project milestones.

qualifications:

• Experience level: Experienced
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Education: Bachelors (required)
